COVID-19 Update
Nelson Brothers has witnessed firsthand the effects of COVID-19 on communities around the world where we do business. We are actively monitoring and responding to the situation to ensure the highest safety standards are met for our employees, customers and communities. We remain fully operational with supply chains and logistics intact. Mandatory Face-Mask Policy
- Tony Nelson announced a mandatory face-mask policy effective May 20, 2020 until further notice. The policy can be accessed on the #covid19 channel in Slack.
Additional Company Policy & Responses
- Please check Slack for regular updates to the #covid19 channel. Policies and procedures specific to certain offices or regions may be posted on public Slack channels specific to those offices and regions from time to time.
Coronavirus Leave
- Nelson Brothers has chosen to extend Sick and Family Leave for COVID-19 per its policy update through March 31, 2021. Please see Families First Coronavirus Response Act Update (1-05-21) to #covid19 channel in Slack for more details.
Symptoms & Testing
- If you are sick and showing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 as defined by the CDC, please contact your supervisor immediately and do not come to your place of work (if you are not already there). Nelson Brothers has implemented a robust process for testing and contact tracing to ensure the safety of our employees and communities whenever possible.
For Our Customers
Outside personnel limited at facilities
- This increases safety for the customers in the event of a positive case or outbreak at one of our sites. It also limits the exposure our employees have to third persons to better ensure our ability to continue operating and meet your needs. Any outside personnel specifically approved for a visit to one of our facilities is expected to follow Nelson Brothers’ policies and procedures then in effect for the relevant facility.
Virtual Meetings
- Whether you use Teams, Zoom, or another video conferencing system, we are flexible and and have the ability to meet safely with customers, vendors and others to discuss their needs, questions, etc.
Communication
- We maintain consistent and quality communication with customers in the event of an update to our policies which would effect our work together
